“I just got off that plane,” Game said of the well-documented rift. “I didn’t even get my baggage out the baggage claim.”

The MC says he wants to “apologize to 50 as a man.” He also wants to apologize to the fans, Dr. Dre, Eminem and the head of Interscope, Jimmy Iovine.

“Jimmy always says, ‘Man, I told you guys not to break up the Beatles,’ ” Game said. “He says he told John Lennon the same thing a long time ago. But I was young, man. I was dumb. I did a lot of dumb things. I felt me and 50 clashed. I’m not gonna dis 50. I’m not gonna go back on the plane. He had his side, I had my side. I did what I felt was necessary for me and my career to have longevity and survive in hip-hop and music to be around when I’m Quincy Jones’ age — not just be Quincy Jones’ age, but be a Quincy Jones. Now, four albums in, I can honestly say from Banks to Buck to Dre to Yayo to whoever, if it would have kept going, endless paper. Millions of albums sold — because we were great together. Me and 50’s chemistry was like how Method Man was to Redman when they get in. You know when Method Man gets with Redman, it’s going down.”

True, the Unit, when they were a five-man squad (that’s with Game and Buck), were absolutely unstoppable.

“It is what KRS-One was with Scott La Rock,” Game added, describing his time with 50. “When you take Ralph Tresvant from New Edition and Bobby Brown goes this way, you might get a Bell Biv DeVoe, but you won’t get no ‘Candy Girl.’ You won’t get no ‘Mr. Telephone Man.’ You ain’t gonna get no ‘Hate It or Love It,’ you won’t get ‘How We Do.’ As a family, we had it. If we never [broke] up, I think Detox would have been out and we all would have been selling millions from Banks to Buck, Tony Yayo. I’m gonna apologize for my role.”

Just a few weeks ago, 50 told us he has no desire to entertain The Game. Maybe Dre or Iovine can get these guys together again?

Online buzz has it that the role was going to another rapper-turned-actor, Common, but with his recent casting opposite Queen Latifah in ‘Just Right,’ he may not finish filming before ‘The A-Team’ get rolling in August. Other possible candidates have included Ice Cube and mixed martial arts fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

Interesting enough, both Common and The Game appeared in the same film last year, ‘Street Kings.’ The Game made his film debut opposite Tyrese Gibson in ‘Waist Deep.’

Distributed by 20th Century Fox , ‘The A-Team’ will be directed by Joe Carnahan (Smokin’ Aces).

‘The A-Team’ revolves around the four members of a former commando outfit and current group of mercenaries. Their leader is Col. John “Hannibal” Smith, whose plans tend to be unorthodox but effective. Lt. Templeton “The Faceman” (usually referred to simply as “Face”) Peck is a smooth-talking con-man who serves as the team’s appropriator of vehicles and other useful items. The team’s pilot is Capt. H.M. “Howling Mad” Murdock, who has been declared insane and resides in a mental institution for the show’s first four seasons. Finally, there is the team’s strong man and mechanic, Sgt. B.A. “Bad Attitude” Baracus.

According to Variety, Liam Neeson was in negotiations to star as Hannibal Smith, while Bradley Cooper, after repeated denials, told MTV News that he will be playing the role of Templeton Peck.

Film is slated for release on June 11, 2010.

One of the event organisers, Mthunzi Zwane, said the concert would be advertised all over Africa and they were expecting more tourists during the concert to be held at the Mavuso Exhibition and Trade Centre.

“The concert will be a major boost to the hotel and catering industry. We expect more people from outside the country to come to Swaziland during this event,” he said. Zwane said the rapper, popularly known as The Game, was one of the best selling artists in the world and more people would like to see him perform.

The Game was born in November 27, 1979 in Compton, also home of hip-hop legends Ice Cube and Dr Dre. As part of the Lax World Tour, The Game will be coming to Swaziland for a one-city performance at Mavuso Exhibition and Trade Centre in Manzini. The show is scheduled for July 19, 2009 starting from 10 a.m till late.

Proceeds from this show will cover costs with extra money donated to different charity organisations around the country. Zwane said the idea behind this show was to attract the people from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region to Swaziland.

Game told MTV News that during his beef with 50, which began in 2005, Jackson actually called the Compton MC and offered to play peacekeeper between the two former friends.

“I was on tour in Canada, sitting in my room, cutting my hair,” Game told MTV News, recalling Jackson’s phone call. “I was messing my hair up. Then my road manager knocks on my door. Boom, boom, boom. He told me, I got MJ on the phone. I ran and snatched up the phone.”

On the other end of the line was a British gentleman who connected the two musicians. A nervous Game said Jackson started the conversation by talking about music and complimenting him on his records like “Hate It or Love It” and “How We Do.” Then the King of Pop asked about the rapper’s children. But before the phone call ended, Jackson touched on one last topic, a sensitive matter at the time.

“He got to this one thing that makes me laugh, man.” Game explained. “He said, ‘I don’t know how you’re gonna feel about this, but I want to ask you something. I don’t want you to judge me, but I don’t really know everything that’s going on between you and 50. But I want to be the middleman behind you putting this situation to bed.’ “

Jackson wanted the two to meet, with him serving as a mediator, according to Game. The rapper mentioned Jackson’s outreach in his new song, “Better on the Other Side,” a tribute to the late King of Pop that features Chris Brown, Diddy, Boyz II Men and Mario Winans. A video for the track, featuring behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the record, is set to premiere online on Tuesday (June 30), Game said. On Friday, 50 Cent also released two Michael Jackson tribute tracks, “Respect It or Check It N—a” and “Where You Are.”

Although 50 and Game eventually put their differences aside, Jackson wasn’t involved. Game said MJ wanted all three of the artists to collaborate on a song together. But, unfortunately, nothing ever came about.

“It just never manifested,” Game said.
